One of the concerns expressed about the potential end of the DACA program is the effects that this might have on enrollments at the nation's colleges and universities.  Assistant Professor Lesley Turner, who has worked on higher-education finance and the experiences of undocumented college students, is quoted on this subject in a recent article in The Atlantic. She points out that these recipients account for such a small percentage of the population at most public universities that "they're not crowding out a substantial number of students who would be coming from in-state or from out-of-state."
