The Maryland Center for Economics and Policy of the University of Maryland is organizing a half-day conference on the social and economic progress of Colombia. The purpose of the event is to engage academics, researchers, and students in a discussion about social and economic development in Colombia. We will have presentations from scholars working on labor, migration, childhood development, crime, violence, and rural development in Colombia.
